About Tāmaki Home Guide

Tāmaki Home Guide is an independent Auckland publication that helps homeowners, landlords and small businesses choose and cost trade services: pest control, borer, wasps, house washing, gutters, roof painting, handyman work, healthy homes assessments and garage doors.

It does three things: ranks businesses on public, checkable data with a published method; turns businesses' own published prices into cost guides; and publishes data studies with the underlying data available to download.

The guide is funded by referral fees from some businesses, as set out on the disclosure page. It does not sell placements or advertising on its lists.

It is based in Auckland, New Zealand. To report an error or ask a question, see corrections and removals.
