Corrections and removals

Anyone can ask for a correction, and any business can ask to be removed. Requests get a reply within 5 working days.

How to ask

Email [email protected] with:

• the page address and the business name;
• what is wrong, and the correct information;
• a public source that shows it, such as a page on the business's own website or a register entry, where one exists.

What happens next

• Factual errors (wrong name, website, service, area, price or register date) are checked against the public source and corrected. The page's check date is updated and the change is noted on this page.
• Removal requests from a business about its own listing are honoured. The business is removed from every list and table, and the lists are re-ranked without it.
• Businesses that were not listed can ask to be re-checked. They are assessed against the published rules; meeting the rules is the only way onto a list.
• Ranking position cannot be changed on request. Positions follow from the data and the method.
